About MPPSC > Objective The study of the Constitutional provisions has enshrined in Article 320 of the Constitution of India, envisages the importance of an efficient system of civil services in a democracy. The formation of State Public Service Commissions was conceived to eliminate : (a) favoritism, nepotism, personal likes / dislikes, whims and fancies; (b) birth, descent or such other things as the basis of selection; (c) canvassing in any form in respect of a candidate. The main thrust, therefore, is to secure the very best and the most deserving persons for all the Government jobs in the State through objective methods of recruitment.
